XRDS – Crossroads Festival Returns to Brussels This Weekend
XRDS – Crossroads Festival is set to return to Vijverspark in Anderlecht, Brussels, on Friday, featuring over fifty artists on three stages. The festival, which began in 2017, promises an eclectic mix of international stars and local talents, reports 24brussels.
The iconic Brussels techno club Fuse takes charge of the festival’s lineup once again. Anticipated performances include DJ Nobu b2b GiGi FM and Kode9 b2b Tim Reaper, showcasing deep techno and futuristic jungle, respectively. Helena Hauff will deliver energetic breaks, Planetary Assault Systems is set for an intense live performance, and Jane Fitz will debut with a unique blend of trippy house and hypnotic techno.
On Saturday, the festival will be headlined by Japanese DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu, who has made waves with his high-energy sets that seamlessly blend genres like nu metal, Japanese electronica, and tracks from pop icons such as Billie Eilish. His rise to fame followed a viral Boiler Room set in 2024, which garnered millions of views. Notably, Yukimatsu began his full-time DJ career at the age of 46, following a serious illness.
This year, the festival organizers have introduced several new elements, including redesigned routes and an adjusted layout to facilitate better movement within the venue.
The festival kicks off at noon on Friday and concludes at midnight on Saturday. Attendees can access the site via public transport, bicycle, or a paid shuttle bus from central cities across the country. After the main events, after-parties will take place both evenings at Fuse in central Brussels.
