Settlement reached in suit over 8-year-old boy’s freezing murder by ex-cop dad

The mom of Thomas Valva, the 8-year-old boy who froze to death inside the garage of his ex-NYPD cop dad’s home, reached a settlement in her $200 million lawsuit against Suffolk County.
