France supports the 10-step Peace Formulation proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky and will base its diplomatic initiatives on it.
“At the G20 summit, President Zelensky introduced his 10-position Peace Components. France offers all sorts of help to this Ukrainian initiative. President Macron confirmed this in a the latest discussion [January 24] with President Zelensky. It is on the foundation of this formula and this plan that we will build our diplomatic initiatives, in distinct on the eve of the sad anniversary of the beginning of the war,” Minister of Europe and International Affairs of France Catherine Colonna said at a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in Odesa, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The minister said that all through the negotiations with the Ukrainian colleague, it was mentioned how to fight in opposition to Russian narratives that “change almost everything upside down, abdicate responsibility, and manipulate many others.”
“But the information are the facts: there is an aggressor and there is a victim of aggression in this war. Russia willfully resolved to start aggression versus its neighbor – an unbiased no cost state. This war has been heading on for a year, in which no regulations are adopted, together with the rules of war, and we know completely clearly who is liable for it,” Colonna pressured.
The leading diplomat mentioned that France will continue on to assistance Ukraine in all places – humanitarian, safety, economic, diplomatic, and political – and will do it “quicker and more” till Ukraine restores its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
