The Trump administration is slashing thousand of jobs and putting others on administrative leave at the stroke of midnight.

Germany’s likely next Chancellor Friedrich Merz questioned on Sunday whether NATO would remain in its “current form” by June in light of the comments by U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration, and that Europe must quickly establish an independent defence capability.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he’s willing to step down if it means a NATO membership for Ukraine.

“People can bounce back and I’m sure he’s getting the best medical care in the world that is available but when you take somebody who is older and vulnerable and adding different complications, that can take a really toll and that can affect prognosis,” Weiner said.
