Arizona dog owner squares off against cougar who attacked him and his pooch twice, fatally shooting the predator

The man was walking his dog around 10 p.m. on May 25 in the town of Buckeye, about 30 miles west of Phoenix, when without warning, a cougar pounced on the dog.
