25-year-old stabbed, critically wounded during clash with smiling straphanger on NYC subway train: cops

The attacker stabbed the victim from behind, once in the neck and twice in the back after the pair got into a verbal dispute on a Manhattan-bound 7 train passing through Queens, cops said.
