Nothing Teases Release of Ear 3 Wireless Earbuds
Nothing has unveiled the design of its upcoming Ear 3 wireless earbuds, which are set to launch on September 18th, 2025. The new earbuds and their charging case share a close resemblance with the Ear 2 model introduced in 2023, but the case now incorporates 100 percent recycled anodized aluminum, reports 24brussels.
The company emphasizes that the inclusion of metal components in the Ear 3 enhances durability and provides a premium finish. Additionally, the earbuds feature a reengineered metal antenna to support an ultra-slim profile. However, specific details about the feature of the built-in microphone and the newly added “talk” button on the charging case remain undisclosed until the full reveal.
Over the past week, Nothing has disseminated teaser material via its social media, drawing attention with additional images of the Ear 3 that highlight subtle design features. While the introduction of the “talk” button and microphone hints at innovative uses, the functionality—whether for activating a smart assistant or serving as a standalone wireless microphone—has yet to be clarified.
As anticipation builds, industry watchers are eager to learn how these enhancements will position the Ear 3 in an increasingly competitive market. Performance specifications and comprehensive functionality details will be unveiled during the official launch event next month.
