Dyson Launches HushJet Purifier Compact with Advanced Features
Dyson is set to release its HushJet Purifier Compact in the United States on September 30, 2025, priced at $349.99. The new air purifier, designed to resemble a jet engine, promises powerful airflow without the disruptive noise, reports 24brussels.
The HushJet Purifier Compact incorporates a star-shaped nozzle that enhances airflow velocity, delivering “faster, more powerful purification,” according to Dyson. The innovative design also minimizes noise, allowing the device to operate at a mere 24 dBA in night mode—comparable to soft whispers—ensuring minimal disruption during sleep.
Equipped with a new Electrostatic HEPA filter, the purifier is capable of capturing 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens such as pollen, dust, and pet dander. Dyson touts the filter’s longevity, claiming it lasts up to five years—five times longer than its previous HEPA models—and is fully sealed to contain captured particles, addressing health concerns associated with indoor air quality.
Weighing in at seven pounds and measuring 17.7 x 9 x 9 inches, the HushJet is intended for spaces up to 203 square feet. It features real-time air quality sensors that adjust its performance accordingly. Users can also set schedules for operation or connect the device with Alexa or Google for voice control management.
In addition to the purifier, Dyson is set to launch the V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum, which boasts a dual conical cleaner head that adjusts its speed based on floor type—accelerating on carpets for deeper cleaning while slowing on delicate surfaces. The vacuum aims to effectively capture long hair without tangling, thereby enhancing user convenience.
Pricing details for the vacuum in the US are yet to be announced, with further information expected closer to its launch in 2026.
