The former Liberal staffer, Bruce Lehrmann, has lost an application for an interim restraining order against a Daily Mail journalist he alleges stalked him.
Lehrmann has launched legal action in the Hobart magistrates court against Karleigh Smith, a senior reporter at the Mail who is based in New South Wales.
