Iowa announces measles outbreak as U.S. tops 1,200 confirmed cases

There have been 1,214 confirmed measles cases this year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday. Iowa announced the state’s first outbreak Thursday and Georgia confirmed its second Wednesday.
