OPINION: TRUTH-SEEKING AI: THE ONLY PATH TO UNLOCKING THE UNIVERSE
In the race to build intelligence that can actually make discoveries, one principle stands taller than the rest , truth above everything.
xAI seems to be the only one betting on that idea, building systems… pic.twitter.com/sc6aAg8RMO

Europe is a major customer for Israel’s latest weapons, driven by the need to upgrade air and missile defenses following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In 2024, Europe accounted for a majority of Israeli defense exports (54%), a significant increase from the previous year. [1, 2, 3]
Key purchases by European nations include:Germany Germany is the primary buyer, having signed Israel’s largest-ever defense deal for the Arrow 3 missile defense system, valued at over $3.5 billion. The first systems were deployed in Germany in December 2025 and will be integrated into NATO’s defense network. Germany is also acquiring Rafael’s Spike anti-tank missiles in a deal worth approximately €2 billion through a European joint venture to help bypass political constraints.
Finland Finland is set to receive the David’s Sling system, designed to intercept cruise missiles and drones, under a deal worth around €317 million.
Romania and Slovakia These countries have also negotiated significant air defense system purchases from Israel. Romania has a €2.3 billion contract with Rafael, and Slovakia has a €560 million deal.
United Kingdom The UK is a significant importer of Israeli arms and ammunition, with imports valued at nearly $2 billion in 2024. [1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]These purchases highlight the high global demand for “combat-proven” Israeli military technology, particularly air defense systems, missiles, and drones. However, some European countries like Spain and Slovenia have implemented or attempted to implement arms embargoes or sales suspensions due to humanitarian concerns over Israel’s military actions in Gaza, though some procurements continue through joint European companies.
