Windsor Castle is located in the English county of Berkshire. The Royal Collection Trust manages the site.

The castle features around 1,000 rooms, including historic State Rooms and Semi-State Rooms built as part of renovations and expansions by various monarchs through the years.

She also lived there during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

First lady Melania Trump is scheduled to visit Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House with Queen Camilla on Thursday.

Queen Elizabeth II was known to enjoy horseback riding on the grounds of Windsor Castle, which also feature several formal gardens.

QuikTrip’s ham and cheddar sub came with three slices of thick-cut Black Forest ham, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese on wheat bread.

I thought the bread was soft, chewy, and not too grainy, making it a great base for the sandwich.

Although the ham was a little stringy with fat and a bit dry, it was surprisingly flavorful. I paid $5 for a 6-inch sandwich.

QuikTrip’s 3 Meat Stack sub was loaded with Black Forest ham, smoked turkey, and roast beef. It was also topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and a few slices of cheddar cheese.

I thought this sandwich was a little harder to bite into than the others because of the amount of meat and the thickness of the slices. It was also a bit messy, as some of the meat slid out as I ate it.

This 6-inch sub cost me $6.50.

The roast beef sub came on wheat bread and had three slices of meat, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

The bread itself seemed a little stale, as it was crustier on the outside but still fluffy in the middle. However, I really enjoyed the taste of the roast beef.

I recommend adding mustard to this sandwich to add even more flavor. I paid $6.50 for this 6-inch sub.

The Big Italian sub was filled with flavor, but it was the messiest sandwich of the bunch.

Complete with salami, pepperoni, Black Forest ham, mozzarella, tomato, banana peppers, black olives, and lettuce, I think this sandwich is ideal for those who like vinegar-based and pickled products like me. The bread was also topped with Romano and Parmesan cheese.

I enjoyed a 6-inch sub for $5.50.

With three slices of smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato, I found the turkey and Swiss sub to be a palate cleanser of light, fresh-tasting ingredients.

I thought the smoked turkey was fragrant and juicy, and it maintained its moisture better than the meat in the other sandwiches.

A 6-inch sub costs $5.

Of all the sandwiches I tried, the turkey bacon club was my favorite. In my opinion, the light flavor of the Swiss cheese allowed me to really appreciate the smokiness of both the turkey and the bacon.

Although the bacon on my sandwich wasn’t crispy, which was disappointing, it was so flavorful and juicy that it didn’t matter to me.

Had QuikTrip taken it a step further and crisped the bacon — or maybe tried its hand at maple bacon — I think this would’ve been the perfect sandwich. I purchased a 6-inch sub for $6.
