Sheinbaum Reports on Government Achievements Amid Security Concerns

The president’s government has fulfilled 26 of its 100 campaign promises, including mandates for social security for application workers and popular elections for judges. However, public perception indicates that the fight against corruption remains inadequate, as nearly half of the respondents believe there has been little progress on this front.

Sheinbaum enters her second year in office backed by Morena, the party holding 45% ideological support among the populace, easing the path for significant reforms. Notably, an electoral reform aims to reduce political funding and eliminate multi-member legislators, garnering widespread approval.

Currently on a nationwide accountability tour, Sheinbaum seeks to strengthen her direct engagement with citizens. This tour, showcasing governmental achievements across various states, will culminate in a significant event at the Zócalo on October 5.
