- I tried and ranked all 10 of Shake Shack’s shakes.
- There are currently four limited-edition flavors, including Dubai chocolate and banana pudding.
- My favorite was cookies and cream, though I’d drink almost all of them again.
Over the course of the summer, I embarked on a grueling mission: to taste and rank every shake on Shake Shack‘s menu.
As a huge fan of milkshakes, I was more than willing to step up.
The 10 flavors, which are all made with frozen custard, included classics such as chocolate and vanilla, and limited-edition shakes, with the brand hoping to capitalize on the Dubai chocolate craze.
Here’s how I ranked them, from my least favorite to my favorite.

Israeli Forces Intensify Military Operations in Southern Syria
Israeli forces have intensified their military operations in southern Syria, conducting both ground incursions and aerial patrols over the provinces of Quneitra and Daraa, reports 24brussels.
On Friday, Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Al-Samadaniyya al-Sharqiya, raiding a civilian home, according to Syrian state media. This follows a similar operation on Thursday in the village of Ruwaihinah, where two Syrian citizens were detained. Earlier in the week, Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of Damascus resulted in the deaths of several Syrian soldiers.
Recent figures indicate that since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in December 2024, Israel has carried out over 954 airstrikes in Syria and 421 ground incursions, occupying approximately 200 square kilometers of territory. Critics are raising concerns about the implications of these military actions.
Updated Israeli airstrikes against southern Damascus, Syria. At least four strikes recorded
Since Assad fell 8 months ago, Israel has carried out:
954 airstrikes in Syria
421 ground incursions
occupied about 200 km² of territory
In a significant policy announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined plans for a demilitarized zone stretching from the occupied Golan Heights to the governorate of Suwayda. Netanyahu asserts that this initiative aims to safeguard the Druze community and establish a humanitarian corridor. However, critics argue that the plan risks entrenching Israeli control over Syrian territory and could exacerbate regional tensions.
In the wake of these developments, the transitional government in Damascus, under President Ahmed al-Sharaa, has condemned Israel’s actions as violations of Syrian sovereignty. The international community is watching closely, with increased scrutiny on Israel’s expanded presence in the Golan Heights, where reports indicate that the demilitarized buffer zone established under the 1974 disengagement agreement has been breached.
As military activity escalates, so do concerns over potential violations of international law, highlighting the precarious situation in the region.
Funding Discrepancies Threaten Schuman Roundabout Renovation
The Schuman roundabout renovation, ongoing since fall 2023, may be jeopardized due to escalating costs and a significant funding shortfall, a spokesperson for the Beliris agency announced. “We are nearing this date, the point of no return really … and since we have not received a reply, we have to assume the funding has not been found,” they stated, reports 24brussels.
The project, initially slated for completion by next summer, has seen its costs surge, particularly due to the proposed canopy designed to enhance the pedestrian-centric area. This increase has created a €3 million shortfall that the Brussels government is expected to address.
In a letter to the Brussels government, Beliris indicated it would move forward without the canopy, although this decision could result in further financial implications. The caretaker government sought EU funding in June to complete the roundabout, clearly stating the budget constraints preventing the canopy’s inclusion.
Brussels is currently navigating a substantial budget deficit alongside political stagnation, with coalition negotiations at a standstill since the elections in June 2024. This situation exacerbates the difficulties faced by city leaders in securing the necessary funding for critical infrastructure projects.
As of publication, no response has been received from key officials, including Brussels’ Minister-President Rudi Vervoort, Minister of European Relations and Urban Planning Ans Persoons, mobility chief Elke Van den Brandt, and Interior Minister Bernard Quintin, all of whom oversee Beliris and hold crucial roles in addressing the funding crisis.
